A Valentine Tragedy.

Valentine's Day is almost upon us! While the angst of unrequited teen crush love is far behind me I can still remember a couple of stinging rejections. There is no shortage of Valentine themed items in Second Life this year. Some very sweet, some to reflect the inevitable heartbreak.
I used mostly gacha to create this scene and I think it's a great way to showcase some of the absolutely outstanding products gacha events carry.

The backstory is Shae has had a crush on Brad since at least 3rd grade. She presented him with a homemade Valentine Card with options. He circled No! Shae is devastated. Nothing but ballads from now until the Ides of March to soothe the ache in her heart. Besides, Chad doesn't have a date to the dance yet and there's an outfit she has in mind to get his attention. Brad may be old news sooner than we thought.

First look from The Gacha Garden

Good grief what an awesome gacha line up in this round of The Gacha Garden! Some of my favorite stores returned and I discovered a few new favorites. I absolutely love playing gacha and this event never disappoints. The Gacha Garden has a pull prize they call a Seed of Inspiration, you receive it when you've played one machine 20 times. Must haves for collectors. I got two houses this go around for SOI prizes.

What's In A Shape?

Bento isn't new anymore, but some SL users haven't even gotten mesh viewers and continue to use system or now called classic body parts. I'm not one of those people. Shiny and new gets my attention and my Linden cash.
Featured in the photo above is a shape I custom made for my Catwa Catya head and Maitreya body. I named her Manda. Important point about these custom shapes made for specific heads and bodies, even if you have that head and body, it most likely won't look like the photo unless you wear the same skin.
Here I'm wearing Essences Cinnamon skin in P02. I also have on eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lipstick by .MILA. in the Perfect Bride collection. I have cheekbone and nose highlight by The Horror! in their Haunted gacha collection. The eyes are Izzie's sparkle in green, a gacha from The Epiphany.
Earrings also by Izzie's and rings by Yummy. Hair is a Truth VIP group gift.
